This is the adorable moment a waddle of penguins paraded along an icy chute at a zoo in China.

Footage shows the group of flightless birds being led by their caretaker as they marched past an excited crowd.

The tourists put out their phones, making sure to catch photos and videos of the creatures at the Harbin Polar Park in Heilongjiang on October 3.

Some of the penguins, wearing tiny backpacks, tottered along the icy path with their caretaker following close behind, as onlookers cheered them on.

Penguins are known for their curious and playful nature, which makes them a favourite attraction at polar-themed parks. Though not native to China, species like king and gentoo penguins are housed in carefully controlled environments, where they often take part in daily walkabouts to the delight of visitors.
