Los Angeles, United States - October 07, 2025 10/07/2025 12:30 pm GMT-0700 NORTHRIDGE, LOS ANGELES, Calif. – Dozens of students gathered outside the Oviatt Library at California State University, Northridge on Tuesday for a pro-Palestinian demonstration. As the crowd grew, demonstrators began marching around the campus. Witnesses said that police detained one person; however, the circumstances of the detainment remain unknown. Speakers addressed the crowd, calling for awareness and solidarity with Palestinians. Demonstrators held signs and chanted as campus police monitored the scene. CSUN Campus Police used a line of officers to keep demonstrators and counter-protesters separated. University administrators were also present, observing the event. As of Tuesday afternoon, the protest remained peaceful but tense.
