Storyline: The Palestinian death toll in the Gaza Strip has risen to 67,806, with 170,066 others injured since the conflict between Hamas and Israel erupted on October 7, 2023, Gaza's health authorities said in a statement on Sunday. The authorities have recovered 124 bodies over the past 24 hours, while hospitals have received 33 injured, according to the statement. The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) said on Sunday in a social media post that, following the announcement of the ceasefire, people are using every possible means of transportation to return to Gaza City and the northern areas. Many have gone back to the ruins of their homes, as nearly 80 percent of houses in the areas have been damaged or destroyed.
