Phoenix, United States - November 04, 2025 11/04/2025 03:10 am GMT-0700 PHOENIX, Ariz. – The Phoenix Police Department was called to the Super 8 motel on 27th Avenue just north of Indian School Road early Tuesday morning for reports of shots fired. Officers arrived and located a black Ford Mustang in the parking lot with several bullet holes in the driver's side. Over a dozen shell casings were located on the sidewalk of 27th Avenue adjacent to the motel. Officers determined a possible suspect was inside a unit on the first floor of the Super 8. Police surrounded the unit with guns drawn and began issuing commands to the occupants to exit. Eventually, a man exited the unit with his hands up and complied with the officers' instructions. Officers detained the man before they entered the room. It is unclear if anyone was struck by the gunfire.
