China: Serbian PM visits university in Shanghai before attending 8th CIIE

Serbian Prime Minister Djuro Macut paid a visit to Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU) on Tuesday, one day before attending the eighth China International Import Expo (CIIE) in Shanghai. More than 100 students from diverse academic backgrounds came to the event at the university's Xuhui Campus to hear the visiting leader. During his speech, Macut called for deeper bilateral cooperation between China and Serbia and said he looked forward to attending the CIIE in person to experience China's vibrant foreign trade scene. Macut spoke about his previous visits to China, and encouraged Chinese students to learn more about Serbian culture and help foster people-to-people exchanges between the two countries.
