US, Phoenix: Glendale 59th Avenue Vehicle vs Pedestrian Collision
Phoenix, United States - August 09, 2025 08/09/2025 02:30 am GMT-0700 GLENDALE, Ariz. – Glendale police and Glendale Fire Department crews responded to reports of a vehicle versus pedestrian collision near the intersection of 59th Avenue and Northern Avenue. Crews arrived to find an unidentified pedestrian who had been struck by a Honda sedan. The pedestrian was transported to a local trauma center in unknown condition. The driver of the sedan remained at the scene. Glendale police established a hard closure for both Northern and 59th Avenues. Northern Avenue closure spans from 59th Lane to 58th Avenue. The 59th Avenue closure spans Harmont Drive to Northern Avenue. Glendale Police Vehicular Crimes Unit detectives have taken command of the investigation.
