US, Phoenix: Phoenix Fatal Corvette vs Pedestrian Crash
Phoenix, United States - August 18, 2025 08/17/2025 10:54 pm GMT-0700 PHOENIX, Ariz. – Phoenix police responded to reports of a pedestrian struck by a vehicle in the 2600 block of West Glendale Avenue Sunday night. Upon arrival, officers found an unresponsive pedestrian lying in the roadway. Firefighters were dispatched to the scene and began administering lifesaving aid, but the victim was pronounced dead shortly after. Officers discovered a Corvette in a nearby parking lot, which had struck the pedestrian. Police conducted field sobriety tests on the male driver. The results of the sobriety tests are currently unknown. Both directions of Glendale Avenue were closed between 26th Drive and 25th Drive during the investigation.
