Hiker slips on wet mountain trail as he scales steep slope in China
This is the nerve-wracking moment a hiker slipped on a wet mountain trail while scaling a steep slope in China.
Footage captured by a helmet-mounted camera shows the trekker trying to keep his balance on the slippery walkway when he suddenly lost his footing and skidded across the trail in Xuancheng, Anhui.
He can be seen in a planking position as he sped downhill amid a drizzle.
Moments later, he reached the bottom, brushing past tree branches. He then gripped a tree tightly to prevent further sliding.
The mountaineer reportedly sustained minor injuries from the mishap.
