"From January to October, the added value of equipment manufacturers above the designated size rose 9.5 percent compared to the previous year, accounting for 36.1 percent of the total added value of industrial enterprises above the designated size. The sector contributed 58.7 percent to the overall growth of industrial value-added output. As the service sector increasingly integrates with advanced manufacturing, modern services are demonstrating strong development momentum," he said. Since the start of the year, new and emerging industries have gained significant momentum. The production of smart equipment and electronic components surged, with their added value increasing by 11.1 percent and 12.3 percent, respectively, Fu said.
