Phoenix, United States - November 16, 2025 11/15/2025 10:40 pm GMT-0700 MESA, Ariz. – The Mesa Fire Department was dispatched around 10:40 p.m. Saturday to a traffic collision at the intersection of Val Vista Drive and Brown Road. Firefighters arrived on the scene and located a multi-vehicle crash. A Ford Expedition involved in the collision had collided with a traffic light pole, trapping at least one occupant. Firefighters worked to extricate the patient before transporting them to a local area hospital with serious injuries, according to information gathered at the scene. Three other vehicles were seen just east of the intersection, one of them having sustained severe rear-end damage. Two additional people were transported to nearby hospitals in unknown condition. Mesa police officers closed the intersection as they investigated the crash.
