1. WHITE HOUSE SPOKESPERSON KAROLINE LEAVITT SPEAKING (English) WASHINGTON DC, US - NOV. 20: White House Spokesperson Karoline Leavitt assessed the latest US-backed peace plan for the Russia-Ukraine war, stating, "This plan is a good plan for both Russia and Ukraine, and we believe it should be acceptable to both sides".

Leavitt provided the assessment during a press briefing, noting that the US continues to hold discussions with both Russia and Ukraine, with Special Envoy Steve Witkoff actively involved in the process.

The spokesperson declined to discuss the plan's details, stating that the process is still ongoing and subject to change, but confirmed that President Donald Trump supports the plan.

When reminded that the Ukrainian side had expressed some objections to the plan, Leavitt emphasized that the meeting between US Secretary of the Army Dan Driscoll and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy went well.

Leavitt reiterated that the US is conducting good discussions with both sides to end the war, but avoided giving a clear answer regarding whether Qatar is mediating the process.
