China’s President Xi Jinping landed at OR Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg, where he was welcomed with an official ceremony.

UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer also arrived shortly afterward and was greeted by South African officials before departing the airport for his accommodation.

Vietnam’s Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and his wife were received with a formal welcoming ceremony upon arrival.

South Africa is the first African country to lead the G20, a powerful group of nations. It assumed the rotational annual presidency of the group last December.
