4. RESIDENT SHAHRUKH SPEAKING TO REPORTER (English) DELHI, INDIA - NOV. 26, 2025: Air quality in India’s capital remained in the hazardous range on Wednesday, Nov. 26, with real-time Air Quality Index (AQI) readings fluctuating between roughly 280 and over 400 across the city.

Data showed AQI levels around 335 in central districts, climbing to 358 near India Gate and 363 in nearby Ghaziabad, triggering health advisories for vulnerable groups.

Officials said the spike in pollution is driven by stubble burning, vehicular emissions, and weather conditions that trap pollutants close to the ground.
