7. INTERPOL'S NEW PRESIDENT LUCAS PHILIPPE GIVING PRESS STATEMENT (English) MARRAKESH, MOROCCO - NOV. 27: French official Lucas Philippe was elected as the President of the International Criminal Police Organization (Interpol) on Thursday, Nov. 27.

The vote took place in Marrakesh, Morocco, as part of Interpol’s 93rd General Assembly, which brings together police organizations from around the world.

Philippe, who serves as a Counselor for European and International Relations at the French National Police General Directorate, was elected to a four-year term.
