Farm dogs enjoy glorious mud bath in waterlogged North Carolina tobacco field
Filmer Jessica Lawrence captured this messy scene in Guilford County, North Carolina, on July 18, 2025.
After a night of heavy rain that dumped three inches of water on the area, Lawrence brought her dogs to work with her in a tobacco field. However, the dogs had other plans. The video shows one of the pooches blissfully rolling on its back in a ditch filled with thick, orange mud, completely coating itself from snout to tail.
A second dog wades through the muck nearby, watching its companion enjoy the ultimate spa day in the dirt.
