9. ILLUMINATED CHRISTMASS TREE MILAN, ITALY - DEC. 06, 2025: A Christmas tree prepared for the Milano Cortina 2026 Olympic Winter Games was illuminated on Saturday, Dec. 06, during a ceremony held in Duomo Square in Milan, Italy.

The event brought together Olympic and Paralympic athletes, local officials, and thousands of residents and tourists who filled the square for the lighting ceremony. The official mascots of the 2026 Winter Games, Milo and Tina, also joined the celebration, entertaining attendees throughout the evening.

Decorated with ornaments inspired by the Milano Cortina 2026 Games, the tree serves as one of the city’s main festive attractions. Officials said it will remain on display until Epiphany Day on Jan. 6.
