Heavy rainfall and falling temperatures have worsened conditions for families living in tents, while continued Israeli restrictions have further strained daily life in the camp.

Families whose homes were destroyed during Israeli attacks gathered to draw attention to the conditions they face while living in makeshift shelters at Yarmouk Camp.

Overcrowding has forced some families to set up tents near garbage piles, increasing health risks, particularly for women and children living in the camp.

The Israeli army has killed more than 71,000 people, most of them women and children, and injured over 171,000 others in a brutal offensive since October 2023 that has left the Gaza Strip in ruins.

Despite the ceasefire, Israeli attacks have continued, killing 442 Palestinians and injuring over 1,200 others, according to the Gaza Health Ministry.
