This is the shocking moment strong winds toppled a Statue of Liberty replica in Brazil.

Footage shows the towering monument already leaning and swaying as a severe storm hit the city of Guaiba, Rio Grande do Sul, on Monday around 3 pm local time.

Moments later, the 114ft structure, installed in the car park of a Havan retail megastore near a fast-food outlet, collapsed to the ground, narrowly missing nearby vehicles.

Officials said the unusual weather brought gusts reaching up to 90 km/h. No injuries were reported following the fall.

Havan confirmed the statue had been in place since the store opened in 2020 and held all required technical certifications.

Authorities quickly cordoned off the area, while emergency responders were deployed to clear debris within hours.
