Grinch causes Christmas mischief at a college
Funny footage shows 'the Grinch' causing Christmas mischief at a college.
The well-known Christmas character appeared at Wiltshire College and University Centre for a light-hearted festive filming project.
Brought to life by a student performer, who roamed the Salisbury campus in full costume, the Grinch can be seen pushing over a Christmas tree, annoying a receptionist, sliding down banisters and throwing library books around and terrorising students.
The Grinch, played by Izzy Barnett, 17, surprised passers-by, posing for photos and generally causing 'festive disruption' along the way.
Izzy, who is studying Performing and Production Arts Level 3 at the campus, said: "I relied heavily on improvisation and was able to build small scenes myself. "
"Because I wasn't speaking, I used expressive body language to show how the Grinch was feeling."
Izzy said she was keen to get involved in the festive project for the chance to have fun with a well-known character - and to make people smile.
She added: "I thought it would be funny to impersonate someone that creates so much chaos and mischief, as well as trying to make everyone feel more in the Christmas spirit."
"I enjoy making people laugh and it was fun to be able to create my own version of a well-known character."
"After this year I'm planning on attending university to study Acting, so I can continue my passion for performing and hopefully turn it into a career."
