A UK-based activist group shipped the "world's largest copy" of the Donald Trump and Jeffrey Epstein photo to Capitol Hill in protest at the released files being redacted. "

The group, called Everyone Hates Elon, unfurled the 400m banner to coincide with the impending release of the Epstein files.

The photo was shipped more than 5,000 miles from the UK to Capitol Hill and displayed in Washington, D.C., this week.

The group claims the campaign is intended to remind Americans of Trump's long-documented acquaintance with Epstein and to pressure lawmakers not to ignore what they say is the truth.

According to the organization, federal documents connected to Epstein's criminal network are expected to be released by Friday, though heavily redacted.

The protest, they say, is a response to concerns that critical information could remain obscured

and that powerful individuals linked to Epstein might avoid scrutiny.

"The Epstein files will be released in DAYS but Trump is making sure they're REDACTED as you read this," the group said."

"Unfortunately for him we just took the WORLD'S BIGGEST photo of him with Jeffrey Epstein to Washington, DC."

The group added: "Here it is right outside the US Capitol. JUSTICE FOR SURVIVORS."

This is not the first time the banner, which stretches roughly 400 meters, has been used to protest Trump's ties to Epstein.

The same photo was previously rolled out in September outside Windsor Castle during Trump's state visit to the United Kingdom.

"We could only buy the 400 metre banner and put it outside of Windsor castle while Trump had tea with the King because of people like you, and its thanks to you that we've sent it all the way to the US," the group said to supporters."

"We're sending a message to lawmakers in Washington: NO forgetting Trump's friendship with Epstein. NO forgetting that Trump tried to BLOCK the files release. Absolutely NO DEALS for Trump's rich friends."

Trump has repeatedly denied any wrongdoing connected to Epstein.

Still, the activists maintain that his prior association and alleged efforts to delay the release of records warrant continued public scrutiny.

They added: "If you were one of thousands who chipped in to pay to ruin Trump's visit to the UK with reminders of his relationship with Epstein, then you've just grabbed the headlines yet again and demanded justice for survivors! Thank you."
