NEWS OF THE WEEK: Trey Songz arrested
According to editors at The New York Post, the R&B singer-songwriter appeared in court on Sunday where he was arraigned on an assault charge related to an alleged brawl that occurred at a Manhattan venue in the early hours of 4 December. Prosecutors claimed Trey - real name Tremaine Neverson - became "needlessly irate” when he was asked to leave the Dramma nightclub around 4:30 am and attacked the staff member, causing "swelling and substantial pain”.
