Known as the country's tech hub, the city has more than 1,500 drone companies and some 200 drone cargo routes with more than 600,000 flights completed as of last year. It costs about four U.S. dollars to send them to Zhuhai City, which I think is acceptable when I prioritize efficiency and speed." [Sound_bite] Huang Yanping, user of drone delivery services: "I use drone deliveries to transport documents and items needed for urgent contracts. Beyond work-related communications, friends and family also use drones to send fresh produce." [Voice_over] Besides express deliveries, Shenzhen's low altitude economy is used to transport food and medical supplies. In the first three quarters of the year, production of civilian drones in Shenzhen increased by about 47 percent, year on year, with low altitude logistics, transportation and delivery services driving demand.
