Speaking at a Thursday press conference, they noted that the country now leads globally in areas such as digital infrastructure, computing power, and artificial intelligence, with benefits extending across industries and everyday life. They reported that China now holds 60 percent of the world's AI patents. Advances in AI are transforming multiple sectors, enhancing manufacturing, agriculture, and transportation, while also improving the quality and efficiency of public services. And the country's total computing power ranked second in the world, strongly supporting economic and social development.
