RECAP: Knife Attack With Smoke Grenades Leaves Three Dead in Central Taipei
Three people were killed after a man carried out a knife attack using smoke grenades in central Taipei on Friday, December 19. The suspect reportedly threw smoke grenades inside Taipei Main Station and stabbed passersby.
He then fled the scene, traveled to nearby Zhongshan Station, and attacked pedestrians again before entering a department store.
The 27-year-old suspect later died after jumping from the department store.
