Long March-8A carrier rocket carrying satellites blasting off, ascending Storyline China launched a new batch of internet satellites into space atop a Long March-8A carrier rocket form the southern island province of Hainan on Friday. The rocket lifted off at 07:26 Beijing Time on Friday (2326 GMT on Thursday) from the Hainan commercial spacecraft launch site. It successfully placed the payloads, the 17th group of low-orbit internet satellites, into preset orbit. [Restrictions: No access Chinese mainland]
