Driver hits schoolgirl on crosswalk and leaves scene in Kanevskaya, Russia
On December 19, 2025, in Kanevskaya, Russia, a security video shows a driver striking a schoolgirl on a pedestrian crossing. In the video, the girl, carrying a school backpack, is crossing at the intersection of Nesterenko and Lenin streets when she is hit by a Toyota, falls to the ground, and then stands up and walks away. The driver briefly stops, exits the vehicle, and then leaves the scene. The child sustained injuries, and police later identified the driver and launched an investigation.
