US, Los Angeles: East Hollywood Coco Robot Nearly Collides With Group Of LAPD Officers
Los Angeles, United States - January 11, 2026 01/11/2026 01:17 am GMT-0800 EAST HOLLYWOOD, LOS ANGELES, Calif. – A group of Los Angeles Police Department officers from the Hollywood Division was on a coffee break at a Starbucks located at the intersection of Western and Fountain avenues. During this time, a Coco food delivery robot approached the officers, speeding westbound on Fountain Avenue. As the robot neared the group, it made an abrupt turn toward the officers, prompting them to jump out of the way. The officers laughed off the unexpected encounter and helped guide the robot back on its intended path. The incident was captured on dashcam video.
