China: Orange cat lies at center of mahjong table as Chinese players continue game
Hebei, China - January 07, 2025 On January 8, 2025, in Hebei Province, located in northern China, a video recorded four people playing mahjong while an orange cat occupied the very center of the tiles. Mahjong pieces surrounded its body, and some even rested underneath it. The cat lounged lazily, unfazed by the ongoing game, stretching slightly as players reached across the table. The relaxed posture made it appear as though the cat felt privileged to be the “fortune-bringing cat” of the group. Players continued their game happily while the cat remained motionless, fully enjoying its comfortable spot. Chinese viewers found the scene adorable and surprisingly harmonious.
