Liam Gallagher has been invited to booze at his new local pubs in the Cotswolds - but he could bump into Lily Allen.

Singer Liam has confirmed he's purchased the £4million Dockem House in the village of Coates near Cirencester.

And two local pub owners and managers - both big Oasis fans and musicians - are eager to welcome the 53-year-old.

But famous people who have lived nearby include Lily Allen - who is thought to still visit her dad Keith who lives in the area.

Allen once claimed her and Gallagher had a

"mile-high" encounter on a plane to Japan while Gallagher was married to Nicole Appleton."

Tao local innkeepers are Oasis fans and musicians - and have even invited Liam in for a jam.

Drummer Luke Bartels, 30, manager at Elliot Arms in Cirencester said it will be great if he comes to the pub as they will "drown him in Madri''. "

He added: "I am sure a lot of people will love he is coming to the area. "

"Some might say he is their 'Wonderwall' and some won't. I will 'stand at the station' waiting for him to love us all. "

"It will be great of he comes to the pub. We will drown him in Madri."

"If he wants to pop at the Elliot Arms and we organise a jam I would be so up for that."

Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher shared on X, formerly Twitter: "To all the BEAUTIFUL people from the cotswolds I come in peace you won't even know I'm there I'm not like all those divvy celebrities who like to show off I'm LO FI as you were LG x"

Luke, who is a drummer, said to be a "big fan" of both Liam and his brother Noel Gallagher."

He said to be too young to see them live in the 90s and that he tried to get tickets for their sold-out too but wasn't 'one of the lucky ones'.

He said: "His and his brothers music was a great influence in my life. Even his style was a big influence. "

"It would be great to shake his hand. He is a massive influence and he is just a great guy."

To Liam moving to the Cotswolds he said: "Welcome to the quiet life. "

"Everything is calm and chill. Hope you enjoy your time."

"It will be great for all the pubs around. "

"Big warm welcome."

Guido Desserafino, 38, owner of The Golden Farm in Cirencester, said he would like to invite him to play at his pub.

"I love Oasis. I am also a musician for many years and I like his music. "

"I have been an Oasis fan since I was a teenager."

"I would invite him to my pub to try our amazing roast dinner. "

"If there's a chance to shake Liam Gallagher's hand I would be very happy."

"It would be lovely if he could pop in just for a pint we are open to accommodate whatever he wants."

Mr Desserafino said he will be a good addition to the Cotswolds if he "brings business". "

"He can buy a house where he wants with the money he has. We already have many celebrities around here like Lily Allen."

When asked why does he think he is coming into the area Mr Desserafino said: "I believe it is because it is a beautiful area with beautiful pubs and why not?"

"Especially with these celebrities, probably their lifestyle is so busy and hectic and around here it is nice and quiet. "

"You can have a good pint and a good run around and you can have a nice break from your day to day life."

Liam's new home sits on the edge of Coates, which has a humble population of around just 500 people.

Contrarily to the other pub owners, one said: "I am not an Oasis fan. I am not really into their music so I don't really care if he is coming to the area."

"As long as he respects the locals that's what matters to me."
