BERLIN, GERMANY - JAN. 26: A group of protesters gathered in the capital Berlin city of Germany to protest against the recent violent actions of the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers.
Gathering at the Brandenburg Gate, they carried banners saying “The wrong ice is melting” and “Melt ice.”
During the protest, some of the protesters delivered speeches against US immigration policies.
The protesters came over the killing of Alex Jeffrey Pretti, an intensive care nurse, which was followed the Jan. 7 fatal shooting of Renee Good, a 37-year-old mother.
The shootings triggered widespread protests, memorials and demands for accountability, with condemning ICE actions and federal officials defending the agent's response as self-defense.
