From the Newsflare archive, here's a funny video of a seven-month-old girl crying as she doesn't recognise her father after he shaved his beard.

In the video, shot in 2016 near San Antonio, Texas, little Anistyn Claire is playing peekaboo with her father before and after he shaved.

When she discovers his hairless face, she is startled at first and soon bursts into tears.

The father explained that he decided to shave for a job interview but also because Anistyn Claire kept pulling on it.

In July 2016, our daughter Anistyn Claire was 7 months old.
I had grown out my beard for a months following my layoff due to the downturn of the oil industry.
In July I had to shave for three reasons:
1) I had an interview.
2) My wife so delicately let me know that she liked it much shorter.
3) Ani Claire like to pull on it. (Ouch)

We decided to have a little bit of fun and capture Ani Claire's reaction.
After getting a haircut and a fresh shave we started the recording and the rest is history!
We thought it was hilarious so we shared the moment with the world!
