Workers and students at the University of the Witwatersrand in South Africa are protesting against police violence on campus. Students are protesting for free and decolonized education and moments before this video was taken police had teargassed,shot and used stun grenades on several students who were demonstrating on Wits' West Campus.
One of the injured students was student leader Shaeera Kalla who was shot with rubber bullets on the back 10 times at close range.
