Bizarre footage of a "well" in a cafe that the owner built out of books.

The video, filmed in Shaanxi Province, China on December 1, shows the giant pile of books forming a cylindrical shape that is reportedly six-metres high.

According to local reports, the owner of the cafe spent more than £800 GBP on books from the local university to build the well.

Her aim was to remind students to use knowledge from the books they study, not just to read them to pass exams.

An impressive video of a woman building a six-metre-high “book well” in her cafe has emerged from China.

The footage, filmed in Xi'an, Shaanxi Province on December 1, shows four-ton eliminative books piling up a six-metre-high book well in the cafe.

The woman named Li was a mum, who accompanied her child to study.

She spent 800 GBP to buy the eliminative books from the nearest university and built up the “book well” in a month in her cafe.

Her purpose to build the well was to remind the middle students to use the knowledge they learnt from books rather than just be a bookworm.
