During a rafting trip on the Kali Gandaki river in Nepal, April 2013. It was a commercial outfit based on Pokhara conducting a two day trip. I was in Nepal alone, the other rafters are fellow tourists from India and Russia. In this video the raft bounces heavily at one point before landing and reeling. I, the pilot, and a Russian are thrown overboard just before a large rock. The Russian and I manage to avoid the rock by grabbing on to the side ropes of the raft. For this we have the pre-trip safety briefing to thank. After I get my bearings, a fellow rafter pulls me on board and I start laughing.
