"I grew up in mountains on the plateau, so I feared water initially. However, rafting has helped me conquer my fear."

"I'm Tashi Phuntsog. This year marks my 20th year engaging in the whitewater rafting on the plateau."

"However, my first rafting experience was a very different story. I had no other choice at that time because there was no bus to take me home. A friend of mine happened to have a rafting boat, so I joined him in the four-hour rafting trip. At that moment, I was so scared that I couldn't feel anything. However, I was captivated by rafting deeply."

"A year ago, I moved from Shangri-La (in Yunnan Province) to Nyingchi in Tibet. I have engaged in river rafting tourism and training since then."
