BAJA'S CUTEST BABY WHALE - A VERY CLOSE ENCOUNTER
This is just amazing! Four of us in a panga (small boat) on Magdalena Bay in Baja California, Mexico, got to spend about an hour playing with this cute baby whale (who we christened 'Wexford') while his mom watched from a discreet distance. The calf was like a playful puppy, rolling around in the water, wanting to be rubbed all over. He would swim back to the mother every now and then as if to seek reassurance and occasionally she would come over to the boat to get a rub herself. An absolutely awe-inspiring experience!
