Footage has emerged from China of firefighters putting out a lorry fire which saw seven tonnes of watermelon destroyed.

The video, filmed in Shangluo, Shaanxi Province on June 27, shows the firefighters extinguishing the blaze which started after the lorry crashed.

Fortunately, the driver managed to escape uninjured.

After an hour, the fire was extinguished successfully. But the lorry only had iron shelves left and all watermelons were burned down.

Fortunately, no casualties were reported.
