Environmental charity Surfers Against Sewage have made a boat out of plastic bottles to highlight the huge quantity of the material washing up on the UK's beaches.

The boat stands on the beach in Marazion, Cornwall and is made up thousands of bottles which washed up on the UK coast.

Their new project 'Wasteland' has been launched to heighten awareness of the problem, offering a five point plan to help communities go plastic-free.
