Footage of science teacher Jacob Strickling showing how to build a very efficient mosquito trap with a bouncy castle fan and a traffic cone.

The video, shot in Gosford, NSW, Australia, shows Strickling taping a red road cone to the fan before he fixed a red bike light at the entrance of the cone to attract the bugs.

At the other end of the fan he mounts a bug zapper racket in order to kill any bug caught in his trap.

Using a bike light, road cone (witches hat), bouncy castle fan and electric bug zapper tennis racquet man builds an unusual mosquito trap.
In a few easy steps the cone is cut down to produce a funnel, which is then attached to the inlet of the bouncy castle fan.
The bike brake lamp is attached to the end of the funnel to attract the mosquitoes and bugs.
The electric fly squatter is then positioned at the outlet of the fan so that any bugs that are sucked into the fan, are then blown into the zapper and are killed.
