Narwhales feeding in pack Ice.
We spotted these group of Narwhals feeding in an open lead in the archipelago of Frans Josef Land, northern Russia. These amazing animals, with their long tusks, are one of the few species of whales that penetrate deep into the pack-ice. Their characteristic "horn" was previously believed to be unicorn horns.
The film was shot on Thomas Ulrich and Borge Ousland`s expedition through Frans Josef Land.
