CCTV shows moment road collapses in residential area in China
This is the shocking moment an entire street collapsed in a residential area in southern China last Sunday (July 1).
CCTV video shows the 50-metre stretch of road starting to sink and crumble, while the retaining wall falls down to the underground car park in Guang'an City in Sichuan Province.
According to local reports, more than 50 households were all evacuated safely and arranged to stay in a nearby hotel for free.
Fortunately, no casualties were reported.
The incident might be caused by the continuous rainstorms and the reason was being investigated.
