Road collapses in China sending huge plumes of smoke into the sky
Huge plumes of smoke rise into the skyline above Hangzhou after a road collapsed.
In the video, captured in Hangzhou city in Zhejiang province on Wednesday (August 28), smoke rises from Jianguo North Road after a piece of the road collapsed.
Another clip shows the collapsed road and cracks in a residential building.
According to passersby, the collapsed road might have damaged the gas pipe as the smoke had a strong smell of gas.
People from the nearby stores and the cracked residential building have been evacuated. The road has been blocked and no casualties have been reported.
