Tractor climbs electric pole after prank goes wrong

A tractor climbed an electric pole snapping wires after a prank by a 11-year-old boy misfired.

The boy saw the tractor parked near a farmers’ market in Tohana in North India on January 5. As the driver had left the keys behind, the adventurous boy, got on to it, started the vehicle and changed gears.

The tractor plunged forward, hit an electric pole and dramatically climbed it.

The mishap snapped the live wires cutting off electricity supply in the area.

The boy, who was not hurt in the mishap, got down carefully without touching the wires.

People in the area blocked the road to stop passers-by from touching the wires and informed the power department officials, who repaired the line and restored electricity.
