Aircraft engines problems make Lion Air flights in Indonesia was canceled.

In the video filmed at Soekarno Hatta International Airport in Cengkareng, Jakarta, Indonesia on December 15, 2018, aircraft engine technicians opened the front and rear engine covers.

At that time the passengers of the Lion Air plane with the PK-LQG registration number were already in the cabin waiting to fly.

Other technicians again were brought in to fix problems on the aircraft engine.

The aircraft's engine problem caused passengers get out of the cabin and forced to return to waiting room to be flown with another replacement plane.

No official statement regarding the problem experienced by this aircraft engine.

Meanwhile, after the crash of Lion Air JT-610 PK-LQP crashing in Tanjung Karawang waters on October 29, 2018, the Indonesian Ministry of Transportation asked the airline to check the feasibility of Boeing 737-8 Max aircraft owned by the airline.
