A horrific video has emerged of a truck ramming into a car and dragging it down the road for 3km with the driver still inside the car in northwestern India.

The incident happened in Deedwana subdivision of Nagaur district yesterday.

The inhumane act of the truck driver enraged people and they started hurling stone at the driver as he dragged the car stuck in the truck's bonnet along the road.

According to eyewitnesses, the driver of the truck was aware of the fact that the car has got stuck in the bumper of his vehicle. But he still decided to drive on caring little to stop and untangle the car from his vehicle, apparently fearing a backlash from the local people.

Forget about stopping the truck, the demon on wheels dragged the white car along the road for 3kms. The truck driver was so ruthless that he didn’t even care to slow down his vehicle in busy crossings along the stretch.

He didn’t stop his barbaric act even after local people started hurling stones at him to bring his vehicle to a halt and end the misery of the car driver.

This enraged pedestrians and motorists then decided to chase the truck down. The truck driver finally ran out of luck and had to stop the vehicle at a police check-post.

He hurriedly veered the truck off the road and tried to run away. But people got hold of the driver and his assistant, beat them to pulp before handing them to the police.

The driver of the car was rescued from his mangled vehicle. Surprisingly, he didn’t suffer any major injuries in the incident.
