Amazing lights in Cornwall for St Patrick's Day
St Patrick's Mount?
Yes, in honour of St Patrick's Day, the iconic Mount (St Michael's Mount, in Marazion, Cornwall, UK, that is) has been lit up with green light. This has come about as part of Tourism Ireland's Global Greenings initiative.
The iconic Cornish National Trust property is normally bathed in warmer orange-toned light. Many dog walkers, visitors and local people were astounded by the bright and distinct green colouring this evening since there had been no prior announcement.
