An out-of-control horse was shot dead after it injured three people today (May 21).

The video, filmed in Huangshan City in eastern China's Anhui Province, shows a frightened horse running along a road and knocking over an old lady in its path.

According to local reports, the horse was used for wedding ceremonies. Two people suffered minor injuries and one suffered serious injuries during its rampage.

The horse was shot dead by the police and the horse owner was arrested.

The case was being investigated, reports said.

2019年5月21日14时40分许，歙县徽城镇中和街发生一起受惊白马冲撞行人事件，造成3人受伤(其中一人伤势较重，另两人伤势较轻，均已第一时间送往医院治疗)。



受惊白马已被公安机关当场击毙，卫生防疫部门已对相关场所进行消毒，马匹尸体交县农业农村局作无害化处理。



我局徽城派出所已确定并控制白马主人，经了解白马日常主要用于婚庆活动，具体情况正在进步调查核实中，其他善后工作正在开展。
