A firefighter hung upside-down to rescue a three-year-old boy trapped in a deep well in eastern China.

The video, filmed in Weifang City in Shandong Province on June 2, shows a skinny fireman tied by a rope being lowered upside-down into a ten-metre-deep and 30-centimetre-diameter well.

After the fireman caught the boy’s arm, other firefighters pulled the rope up slowly to bring them back to safety.

After 10 minutes, the boy was saved successfully and passed on to paramedics to check his condition.

The boy was unharmed as the rescue operation was completed in quick fashion.

　2日下午，位于潍坊坊子区黄旗埠街道田家村，一名3岁男童不慎掉入田间的机井，急需救援。接到报警后，峡山消防立即赶赴现场施救。

　　峡山消防三级消防士郭经介绍，到达现场后消防员发现，机井位于一片麦田中，深约10米、直径约30公分，井口比较狭窄，只能容许一名瘦小的消防员下井开展营救。此时儿童的哭声不时从井下传出。

　　针对现场情况，一名身材瘦小的消防员带好头灯、腰间系好安全绳，头部朝下倒立，由地面上的消防员拉住安全绳往下送，送到能够抓到孩子胳膊的位置，牢牢地抓住孩子的胳膊并不断安抚孩子，确认安全后，地面上的消防员拉拽安全绳慢慢上移。经过十多分钟的紧张救援，被困男童成功救出，并移交给医护人员检查。由于救援及时，男孩身体并无大碍。

　　附近一名村民介绍，村民们正在这里锄草，孩子在附近玩耍，一不小心掉井里去了。
