Two heroic men risked their lives by climbing into a flat through the window to put out a fire in eastern China.

In the video, shot in Gaoyou city in Jiangsu province at around 21:00 on July 3, a man in a red shirt standing on a platform managed to kick open the security grill, while another man was climbing up the outer wall through a pipe.

The two men managed to extinguish the flat fire and open the door for the police.

According to reports, the flat owner forgot to turn off the gas cooker when she went out and the burning food ignited the wall, causing the fire.

回忆起7月3号晚上发生的那一幕，视频拍摄者颜莉依然惊心动魄。当晚九点多，扬州市高邮花湾路与文邮路口的一处居民楼二楼突然起火，却没人在家。
发现火情，正在附近巡逻的巡特警也赶到现场，拨打119后，准备破门救火。

屋子里明火越来越大，可大家却束手无策。就在这时，路过的两个小伙子冲了上去，爬到二楼平台试图打开防盗窗，进入房间救火。见到这一幕，居民们个个屏住了呼吸。

不一会，两人就在防盗窗上拆开一个洞，先后爬了进去。

这时，巡警和市民立即来到门口准备接应，一会房门打开了，两小伙出来示意，明火已被扑灭。


初步检查判断是户主煤气灶忘记关火，菜烧干后起火引燃了的墙布。十多分钟后，房主姚女士回家一看，吓懵了。
