This is a shocking moment when a soccer match leaves rubbish left on a soccer field in Indonesia.

Footage filmed on Sunday (1 December) shows plastic waste left over from drinking water and boxes on the bench left behind when it rains.

This moment occurred during the match between Putra Harapan FC vs Anton Motor FC teams in the 1st Mayor's Cup 2019 tournament at Ateh Ngarai stadium field, Bukittinggi city.

This afternoon match ended with a score draw, 2-2.

According to residents who live around the stadium, the pitch will usually clean tomorrow morning after scavengers pick up plastic and cardboard waste as economic value as it can be sold for recycling.
